| HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MEGHAN!!!! | |||||

TODAY IS OUR MEGHAN'S BIRTHDAY!!!! Meghan is an
awesome person! This family has taken her in and
welcomed her into this family with open arms.
Even the sisters... who have always criticized
any girl Kevon has even thought about! That is
because she is warm, loving, friendly and we can
see how happy she makes our Kev! Plus she loves
kids & dogs and they love her! She's got to be a
great person! I know her nieces & nephews love
her very much! Hope you have a wonderful day,
Meg! Everyone is thinking about you today and
saying a special prayer for you! Hope you have
many more happy & healthy years to come!!!! |

| Wednesday: Melt downs inside & outside, American Idol & the mouse. | |||||
|
YESTERDAY ~ No school. We didn't get any snow to
speak of here... but they did in Poulsbo &
Bremerton. Mom even saw some. So... no school for
any of them. Joel brought the kids over. They
stopped by the lake on their way and Dylan got to
walk on it a little. Joel said it was about 2
inches thick. Kids thought it was so cool. We
didn't do much of anything. I found a new
website I may like. Amanda & I played phone tag
but never quite clicked. Kevon stopped by for a
minute. Candice & I talked only briefly...she had
to go to Seattle to do a Microsoft commercial.
She was stressed about the roads. Doris & Gordan
called me about the roads, too. But everyone said
the main ones were fine. I hadn't even been out
in them yet. Maddie had quite a few meltdowns
yesterday. She also had a fever which could
explain it. We let her win at candyland and then
she threw a fit because she was done & Dylan and
I had to see who came in second. Hope she gets
over this cold soon. Our snow turned to very
light rain off & on. That is nice. Andrew called
and talked with Dylan for about an hour. Pokemon
mostly. Parker is just as bad as those two. lol!
American Idol started last night! I love that
show! Called Karla, Tara & Meg... they were
already aware of it. I guess I was the only one
who spaced out on it until it was almost on! I
thought Randy was really the jerk last night! He
laughed out loud at most people and was mean to
them! Could be a weird season. Paula didn't say
2 words! Was she wasted or mad because she had to
share her table with Jewel? What was with that.
Got a kick out of Simon calling Randy mean. Does
anyone ever notice the leering looks Randy gives
certain women. That makes me mad. Ok... I am
done. TODAY: Papa called me on his way to
work... school is 2 hours late. That's ok. I have
to go to walmart and get a mouse pad. My wireless
mouse started spazzing out yesterday and now all
of the sudden I need somthing under it. That is
my plan for today. Woke with a really nasty
headache! Couldn't even move my head it hurt so
bad. It is almost gone now. Hope you all have a

|
Still looking for the web site of my dreams. This
one came pretty close... but I think it has too
much "stuff". Yesterday was a good day. Karla
brought the kids over. We chilled out most of the
day. Papa went over and visited Ron for quite
awhile. He is healing from knee surgery... then
he broke his toe on the other foot. He could use
your prayers! Amanda found us a Scrabble website
that we can now play together at the same time.
Not like It's Your Turn where you have to wait.
It was fun last night. She got a new blog site...
I am checking it out to see if I like it. It is
really hard. Well... it is snowing outside. Have
no idea what this day will bring. Sure wish
spring and the rains would come! I am so cold!!!! |

Well, my site wouldn't work all day yesterday.
Very frustrating... but what was even more
frustrating was trying to find a site I liked
better. Which I haven't yet. It snowed most of
the day on Saturday. Just little flakes most of
the time but it was nice to watch. Went to church
for practice... they had the Saturday night
service for the first time. It was incredible.
They set up 110 chairs and had over 190 people
show up for it. Pastor Barry asked everyone "Are
you here now because the Seahawks are on in the
morning?" Rehearsal went pretty good. Sunday
morning didn't go so well. Pretty disappointing.
People didn't have stuff memorized... so it
looked cheezy. Oh, well. What can you do? It is
history. Erased. The sermon was so convicting. It
was very good. Went home after church and had
lunch and watched the rest of the Seahawks game.
Heartbreaking loss. Amanda wasn't too happy
either because Chargers lost, too. I went to
Azteca's by myself. Papa & I had quarrelled. We
are made up now. Quarrels are always dumb. I had
fun at Azteca's though. Sat by Meghan's grandpa
and across from Lauren, her sister. She is a
really nice girl. Kevon & Meg sat kitty-corner
from me and Brad & Skana sat at the end so we all
visited. I didn't get much chance to visit with
her grandma. Her mom, Mary Kay, came down and sat
by me for awhile and visited and also during
present time. Took some great pictures I will
post. Didn't sleep well last night.. kept
coughing. Thought I was over this cold!!!! Tired
today. Amanda called and it was 51 degrees in
their house this morning and -8 outside!
Overnight it had gotten as low as -9.4 and 48 in
the house. Wow. I better pack my warmest
clothes!!!! Dylan is talking to Andrew on the
phone, Maddie is playing, and Papa is trying to
think of something to do. Hope you all have a
wonderful warm day! |
