Well, another Friday is here! We enjoyed a relaxing night... they cancelled Bible Study because of the ice in Bremerton. They got hit with lots of snow and ice. We didn't see much at all yesterday. The bridge was icy but people were very cautious. It was snowing when Papa reached work though! Anyway, Dylan's school was 2 hours late so I met Karla at her work and took the kids to McD's. Met up with Bob Frieboth there. So good to see him! Haven't seen him in years. We talked for quite a while. He's lost over 100 pounds. So proud of him. And he walks 2 miles a day. He gave me incentive. Then we went to WalMart and I got some groceries and Maddie a winter coat. We have trouble getting her into heavy coats but thats too bad. It is so cold outside!!!! 17 degree wind chill factor. She wore it. She has to realize she is not the boss of her world and some things she has to do because they are good for her. Booger. I got Dylan a new Huskies stocking cap and skeleton printed gloves that make him "feel stronger". Took them back to Karla... I left Maddie there so Karla didn't have to come over to get her and I took Dylan to school. Going up to school I was giving Dylan a hard time about something and teasing him...then I said "Oh, you really love me Dylan!" He said "I sure do." That made me smile. For all his non-stop chatter and sometimes 9-year-old-attitude... he is such a special and awesome kid! Came home and put groceries away. Had 3 messages.... a KidStuf emergency I had to call Candice on, a hang-up I later discovered was Joshua calling me, and the one from Candy I already wrote about. Created a busy afternoon for me. On Wednesday afternoon I had put a roast in the crockpot and later added little red potatoes & baby carrots. Well, it didn't get done. So Papa put it in the frig and took it out yesterday morning and plugged it in again. It was so delicious last night! I couldn't believe how good it turned out. A new cooking secret! Thank you to those who called mom (Grandma) to wish her Happy Anniversary. 60 years. Hard to believe. It was a hard day for her because she had to go get her infusion for her iron. It took 3 hours and it was Dad's "girls". The ones who used to give him his transfusions. So while it was good to see them it was hard. Libby was with her, though. That was a good thing. Trying to hook up something with Kevon & Meghan for their birthdays. Not easy! Kevon is such a turkey sometime. Black's got their box yesterday!!! Sending it FedEx seems the way to go! I had sent Ryan & Amanda's Christmas present from the exchange and I can't send a box without something for the kids! So I sent Lauren a little ballet outfit. She looked so cute and big I cried (webcam). Amanda sent pictures...I will post them in my Photo section... and some others she has sent me. Played games with Amanda and when Andrew got done with all his homework he sat and played games with me and Papa. He beat me at checkers but Papa beat him. We found a Minesweeper we played and that was fun. Heather called and got to talk with Andrew. Then he had to go eat dinner. It was fun though. Well, Papa, Dylan & Maddie all home today. Have to think of something to do. Have a great day and stay warm!

I always feel stronger with my skeleton gloves. Caitie didn't like to wear any clothes, she would turn be shivering and still not want clothes on. She did grow out of it.
